A ten and a half-foot mooching rod designed specifically for small salmon and big steelhead in the bays and river mouths o the Northwest, Alaska and British Columbia, as well as the Great Lakes. The handle features a long fore grip and a short rear grip for use with single-action mooching reels. While it is basically made for trolling or mooching, it will work equally well using standard drift gear and a center-pin reel for steelhead or salmon on big rivers.
